Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our friendly company representative. After a warm welcome, enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to your incredible migration safari.
Take the rest of the day to relax and recover from your journey. Soak in the peaceful surroundings of your lodge, enjoy a refreshing drink, or unwind by the pool. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the option to explore Arusha town or simply rest and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay in Arusha, ready to begin your six-day Serengeti Migration Safari in the morning.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Game Drive and Overnight in Karatu
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to the stunning Tarangire National Park, known for its towering baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a full morning and afternoon game drive through the park, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife along the Tarangire River.
Your experienced guide will help you track the best wildlife sightings while sharing insights about the park’s unique ecosystem. In the late afternoon, exit the park and continue your journey to the lush highlands of Karatu. Arrive at your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the Ngorongoro region.

Day 3: Karatu to Northern Serengeti – Scenic Drive and Game Viewing
After breakfast, depart Karatu and begin your scenic journey toward the Northern Serengeti, home to the dramatic Mara River and the heart of the Great Migration. Enjoy a game drive en route as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and vast plains of the Serengeti. The landscape shifts beautifully—from highland forests to wide-open savannahs teeming with wildlife.
Keep your eyes peeled for predators, grazing herds, and unique bird species along the way. Arrive in the Northern Serengeti by late afternoon, where the adventure continues with a short game drive en route to your camp. Settle in, enjoy dinner, and prepare for tomorrow’s migration spectacle.

Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive – Northern Serengeti & Mara River Crossing
Today is dedicated to exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Northern Serengeti. After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive through rolling hills and golden plains, following the path of the Great Migration. Witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras gathering at the banks of the Mara River, preparing to cross its treacherous waters.
Experience the raw drama as they plunge into the river, where hungry crocodiles and territorial hippos await. Your guide will position you at the best viewpoints to safely observe this unforgettable spectacle. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue your exploration before returning to camp for dinner and a restful night.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Game Drive En Route (110 words)
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Northern Serengeti and begin your journey south with a game drive en route through the Central Serengeti. This region offers incredible wildlife sightings, including prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of herbivores.
As you traverse the scenic plains and rocky outcrops, enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and soak in the diverse landscapes that make Serengeti so iconic. In the afternoon, continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving in the lush highlands by evening. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration and Return to Arusha (110 words)
After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Often called Africa’s “Eden,” the crater is home to a rich concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, and a variety of bird species. Explore the crater floor’s lush grasslands and soda lake, with a picnic lunch in a scenic spot.
In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel to relax and freshen up. Later, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight—either to Zanzibar or back home, marking the end of your safari adventure.
