Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Overnight in Karatu
After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its stunning landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees and its large elephant population. Days 3: Karatu to Serengeti – Midday Arrival & Game Drive
After an early breakfast in Karatu, begin your journey to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands with stunning views along the way. You’ll arrive at the central Serengeti around midday, just in time to enjoy your first thrilling game drive.

Today, enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the southeastern plains of the Serengeti, one of the richest wildlife areas in the park. After an early breakfast, head out with your guide, bringing along a picnic lunch to enjoy in the bush. This region is known for its vast open landscapes and excellent opportunities to see big cats, large herds of herbivores, and possibly scenes from
the Great Migration during the right season. Spend the day tracking wildlife, capturing photos, and soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti. Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater – World Heritage Wonder
After an early breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and begin your journey toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the endless plains and occasional wildlife sightings. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a massive volcanic caldera teeming with life.
Enjoy a half-day game drive, where you may spot lions, elephants, zebras, buffalos, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports an incredible diversity of animals within a relatively small area. After the game drive, ascend the crater rim and head to your nearby lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Karatu near Ngorongoro.
