Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our professional safari representative and transferred to Arusha town. After check-in at your hotel, enjoy a relaxed afternoon and prepare for the trek.
In the evening, meet your mountain guide for a full trekking briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Arusha – Momella Gate – Miriakamba Hut
After breakfast, drive to Arusha National Park for registration at Momella Gate (1,500 m). Begin the trek through scenic grasslands and lush forest, accompanied by an armed ranger due to wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, and monkeys.
The trail gently climbs to Miriakamba Hut (2,514 m), offering beautiful views of Meru Crater. Trekking time: 4–5 hours

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Miriakamba Hut – Saddle Hut – Socialist Peak – Miriakamba Hut
Start the day hiking to Saddle Hut (3,570 m) through forest and moorland zones. After a short rest and early dinner, begin a midnight summit push to Socialist Peak (4,566 m). Reach the summit at sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Ash Cone, and the Meru Crater. Descend back to Saddle Hut for brunch, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut.
Trekking time: 10–12 hours
Overnight: Miriakamba Hut Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 4: Miriakamba Hut – Momella Gate – Arusha
After breakfast, descend through forest trails to Momella Gate. Meet your driver and transfer back to Arusha town, marking the end of your Mount Meru trekking adventure.
